KLAHOOSE FIRST NATION GENERAL ELECTION POLLING NOTICE 2015 & WATER TAXI

Notice is hereby given to the electors of the KLAHOOSE First Nation that a poll will be held to elect 3 Councillors and one Chief. That the poll will be open:

SATURDAY APRIL 11, 2015 9:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M.

KLAHOOSE MULTIPURPOSE BLDG 1730 TORK RD SQUIRREL COVE, B.C.

Voters living on reserve that wish to vote by mail may obtain a mail-in voting package by contacting the Electoral Officer.

I will count the votes at the Klahoose Multipurpose Building on Saturday April 11, 2015, immediately after the close of the poll and declare the result of the election.

Klahoose members who are currently working on the Jimmie Creek Hydro project and would like to vote in person, a water taxi is being provided. Contact your supervisor if you know you will be in camp and would like to be on the boat for April 11th, 2015. The boat will be Yekwamen Charters (Empress 1). A list of workers has been compiled but it can change. Please let your supervisor know if you are in camp.

Leave Toba: 8:30 am

Return to Toba: 10:30 am

Also, a water taxi will be available for any Klahoose members in the Powell River area on April 11th.

Leave Lund at 10:00 am to Squirrel Cove.

Return to Lund the same day at 1:00 pm (Water Taxi Company to be Determined).
